Everything about Harle is just a spoiler. You first meet
her as an antagonist who happens to help Lynx. But later
as Serge changes into Lynx's form, she decides to join your
party.
Later in the game you learn that she's
an incarnation of the Dragon God (like Kid is a form of Schala)
made to disrupt FATE. What may seem that FATE is the
enemy, it is actually the Dragons who are manipulating Serge to
destroy FATE. And on top of that, Lavos is controlling the
Dragons!! So we shift enemy to enemy, and all along it is
actually the alien form Lavos who is the real enemy.
I practically gave away the whole story
there. It's a shame such a great character leaves your
party after you turn back into Serge. There is a rumor
that you could get her using the Chrono Cross in New Game+ right
after defeating Lavos in one scenario, but I have to try that
out. If any of you know if that's true, email me!! |
